How Our Professional Application of STORMDRY Insulates The External Of Your Property

Penetrating damp occurs when water penetrates through the exterior surface of a wall. It is often not noticed until the moisture shows up on interior surfaces in the form of damp patches. Even if the damp doesn’t reach the interior of a property it can still cause problems such as rotting timber joists, freeze/ thaw damage and poor insulation performance. And that's where Cosey Homes come in, we can protect your outside masonry from any more penetrating damp. We carry out surface preparation as necessary, use a brush to apply around details such as windows etc, larger areas can be covered more quickly using roller application, after approximately 15-20 minutes after application, StormDry starts to penetrate into the masonry, and after 24-48 hours the wall will have returned to its original appearance.

The cream once applied, dries clear on your masonry making it waterproof. As well as being waterproof it is breathable. What does that mean you might ask?, Well by lining the pores of the treated masonry material rather than blocking them the water is still able to evaporate through the wall in the form of vapour - i.e. the masonry is able to breathe, this allows existing walls to be able to dry out. On top of all this we can save you up to 29% on your energy bill

Keeping garden patios, paving and outdoor wooden structures in good condition can also be a real task in the UK climate. Rain, humidity and mould / algae growth can quickly cause them to look dirty and deteriorated. We can also protect all of these from the forever changing UK climate.
